Only interfere with the child work or use of materials if what he or she is doing is dangerous or destructive.<\/li><li>Allow the child to rest and think or watch other students at work. Embrace the value of reflective thinking and the power of learning from your peers.<\/li><li>Encourage both independent work and collaborative small group work.<\/li><li>Allow the child to determine which educational activity to engage in based on his or her interests.<\/li><li>Help those who are in search of an activity and cannot find it.<\/li><li>Present lessons based on observed interests of the child.
